Saloon and chart table
The hull, keel and counter-skeg are laminated in monolithic polyester (rowing 71) and molded in one piece, which is a guarantee of strength and watertightness. The 4 watertight bulkheads (transom, engine room aft, machine room fore, sail locker anchor chest) with isolation valves, and the frames are laminated in the mold which guarantees an excellent rigidity and maximum strength. The deck is made of polyester laminate / balsa sandwich. The inserts and reinforcements are embedded in the laminate.
The rudder is held by 3 plates onto the counter-skeg and the rudder stock is made of solid stainless steel.
The first owner owned the boat for 1 or 2 years.
The second owners sailed the Mediterranean with 2 skippers who covered the boat's maintenance. The current owner is the third one. He bought the boat in 2014 in Sète, France, and sailed to Tunisia where he had the gantry installed, took out the generator to sandblast and remake the baseframe's paint, changed the rubbing band color, revised the sails. Back he installed 2 190W solar panels. He then sailed to the Canary Islands, where he had a second pilot installed, later in Trinidad, and during haul out for bottom-paint, took of the transmission and changed all the seals. During his stay in Martinique at the Amel base, he had the 5 deck lockers doors changed for double closures and the aerial / wind vane changed, he also had the rigging checked. In Carthagena, Colombia, he made the latest bottom-paint (Sept 2017), then in Panama he changed the cockpit helm station chart plotter (Axiom 9). He entered Polynesia, Gambiers, in October 2017, and has been sailing in Polynesia since then.
