Building and history

Integral aluminum centerboarder ( non-masticated ) of the Archimede 36 type built in 1978 by the CICR Ribecourt shipyard according to designs of the architect Reinier-Dobbelman (Cabinet Joubert Nivelt).
Professional construction particularly sturdy and neat. Aluminium AG4MC : 10 ribs, 18 floors, 18 stringers, 10 mm sole in the bottom, 8 and 6 mm hull. Ballast 2700 kg in lead insulated resin. Daggerboard NACA profile : double aluminium sheet, ballasted (300 kg lead insulated by resin), mobilization by screws. Sturdy telescopic stainless steel tiller. Suspended rudder.
Her shape is that of a racing-cruising sailboat, her hull is shaped to resist in ice. The boat has been designed to be easily dismasted.
Between 2017 and 2022, some welds on the deck were done; installation of anode plates in 2021; 2 deck plexis changed in 2016; painting of roof in 2019; cockpit painting in 2017; hull painting 2009.
The boat has made several Atlantic crossings, a trip up the Amazon and then to the Pacific for Polynesia.

The word of the owner

This is a very pleasant yacht to live on with her large spaces and her storage.
Her shallow draft has been very useful in the lagoons to access many anchorages.
A lot of work has been done since 2009, engine, rigging and electronics.
This boat sails very well and although she is a dinghy, she goes upwind quite well!
