Building and history

BAVARIA 47 EXCLUISIVE type fiberglass sailboat, built in 1994 by the Bavaria Yacht shipyard in Germany, according to designs by architect J&J Design. Sturdy construction and elegant and classic hand carpentry work.
This boat has had two owners, the first one 1995-2000. The second, current owner, bought her in 2000, equipped her and maintained her very well. The boat left Sweden in 2014 and has been sailing full time ever since, including in South America.
Between 2000 and 2014 the boat is prepared and sails on the Baltic Sea. In 2014, she sailed in Europe, then Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile 3 years in South America and 1.5 years in Patagonia.
This model was ordered from the factory with more powerful accessories: electric winches, main diesel engine, bowtruster and hydraulic rig. The rig is also stronger and the mast two meters higher than the original. Even the keel is deeper and stronger than the standard. The vessel has been tested by Germanischer Loyd, according to the GL-100 A5 standard.
The boat is for sale due to a change in family situation. If you are looking for an affordable, sturdy, fully equipped, and fairly fast long-term cruise ship, this Swedish boat is for you.
The owner will assist the future owner, on request, for a few days to get the hang of it, with a review of the technical equipment and a sail test.
