This pilothouse sailboat is a well-maintained, proven blue-water vessel, rigged for short-handed sailing as a true cutter with fully battened mainsail, yankee and self-tacking staysail. US-built in Rhode Island, she is fast, comfortable and easy to sail by a cruising couple. Modern flush-mounted cast acrylic windows provide a 360 view from the pilothouse, with inside steering, engine and autopilot controls for comfortable and safe watches.

The gourmet galley is equipped with a 4-burner gimballed stove, infrared oven, microwave and large double stainless sink. Provision for months with the stand-up SS cold plate fridge (7.6 cubic feet), rock solid SS cold plate freezer (3.6 cubic feet) and extensive cupboard and storage space. All bunks and settees have new upholstery and foam. Cast acrylic hatch lenses and new portlights with cam closures for easy opening and closing provide maximum ventilation throughout the vessel.

She is fully autonomous at anchor and has offshore grade ground tackle for confident anchoring. Ready to cruise.

Building and history

Recalada was built in the United States in Rhode Island in 1982 by C&C Yachts, designed by Rob Ball. She had regular maintenance and regular updates between 2011 and today.
