Building and history

Amateur built steel cutter type Suncoast 50, built in 1989 by Elzinga shipyard (Workum-Netherland), according to Elzinga design.
Steel hull sandblasted in 2018 with some plates changed and chainplates reinforced. Teak deck.
Last work done in 2022: hydraulic rudder with rebuilt cylinder and new seals, new seals on the stuffing box and stuiffing box polished on the inside, new bottom paint from hempel (silicone based) commercial grade (hempaguard X7).
