Building and history

Steel fleet tender built in 1982 by the British Navy yard. 75 identical boats were built.
The exceptional quality of the whole construction characterizes this boat.
Refit in 2021, shipyard in Sète, France: thickness control by expert, installation of the necessary and legal security. Refit of the hull and exterior painting. Installation of a watermaker, a dinghy, an autonomous battery system so as not to have to use the generators. Change of the battery parks. Revision of the crane and electricity.
The big military revision dates from 2018, certified by NATO and Lloyds.
First owner after the British Army.
Trip from Plymouth (UK) to Rikitea (Polynesia).
Owner sells because he wants to keep only one boat.

The word of the owner

I own 2 identical boats, Le Family since 2017 and Meon since September 2020.
One is enough for me but there is no more reliable and economical than the English Fleet Tender.
It is a reliable and economical boat: 23 L of diesel per hour, including generator. It sails at an average speed of 8.5 knots. It has 2 cabins.
There are no expenses to foresee. I have equipped Meon to cross the oceans, it is autonomous.
3700 L of fresh water plus a desalinator of 160 L per hour. I have sailed 12 000 nautical miles without any problem.
