EXCLUSIVITY R.Y.B!
High-performance sailboat with lifting keel for access to all types of anchorages.
Sleeps 6 to 8 - 3 double cabins
Jumbo 40 (ex Class 40) is a polyester sandwich centerboarder with a hydraulic lifting keel, built in 2005 by the Jumbo Composites yard to designs by architect Pierre Rolland, who supervised the construction.
Sturdy, lightweight composite construction. The floors are made of sandwich panels, making them lightweight and maintenance-free. Two 750 L ballasts.
A lifting keel allows access to anchorages while preserving the boat's nautical qualities.
The yacht was built for the 2006 Route du Rhum for Pierre-Yves Chatelin Défis Calais Voile.
The current owner bought her in 2011 to adapt her to fast cruising for a France-Pacific family trip.
