Building and history

Sunreef 62 owner's version aluminum catamaran built in 2005 by Sunreef Yachts.
The hull and deck are made of aluminium. 2017 hull and underdeck sanded to primer or bare metal and all small spots repaired. New primer and topcoat (Altex Vivid) applied.
Glossy and luxurious finish of all woodwork (American cherry).
Large salon with 40" plasma TV screen, Hi-Fi home cinema system.
The cabins and the salon are fully air-conditioned.

Last work done: as part of preventative maintenance, the engines have had the heads done, the injectors replaced, fuel pumps redone and turbos rebuilt. All hoses replaced. The shaft s were pulled and bearings replaced. Rudders rebuilt.

Rigging

25m carbon mast and boom (dropped in 2017)
Inner stays, outer stays, forestays opened and checked. Gull strike replaced 70% of running lines recovered by Fineline. Mast foot and all stay terminal points removed and re-bedded. Mast repainted. Furler motor, seals and bearing replaced.
