Building and history

GRP sailboat, Oceanis 411 type, built by Bénéteau in 1999 and launched in 2000, Finot design.
The boat has always been private, never chartered. Her first owner, swiss, kept the boat in Valencia, Spain, sailed like 2 weeks per year, she was maintained all year long by professionals.
Her current owners bought her in Valencia in 2009 from Bénéteau pre-owned boats (the boat was reconditionned and sold by Bénéteau when her first owner bought a new yacht from Bénéteau). They live aboard and make short sailings to prepare the boat for one year. For their blue-water programm, they made the followings changes and upgrades: the in-mast mainsail furling system was replaced by a classic rail and travellers system, a new aft gantry was added with solar panels, etc.
They sailed the Atlantic, in Brasil, French Guyana, the Caribbean, then Europe.
They made an important refit in 2017 in Spain before crossing Atlantic toward Panama and Polynesia:
all the foams, matresses and covers, inside and outside, were changed, new windlass, new folding GORI propeller, new additional solar panel on roof, liefraft service, new LEWMAR roof hatches, new ENO stove, new DANFOSS compressor, holding plate, 2 new inverters, 220V and 110V, STERLING external regulator for the 90 Amp engine alternator, shaft seal changed in Panama, windpilote, new floors, new saloon table foot (convertible)...
