Excellent condition racer-cruiser, fitted out for long passages and life aboard with family. Sturdy, easy to sail with short crew or single-handed. Built in strip-planking, both strong and light. Major refit in 2016.
Strip-planking boat (Epoxy yellow cedar wood, providing high resistance for a very light weight), Randonneur 1200 type, built by EURL Gadjo Dilo shipyard (Hervé Le Gall) according to the design of Marc Lombard. It is similar to a class 40.
Lifting keel, which offers a keelboat behavior with access to moorings in 1,30m of water. She's fast, good at sea and astonishingly easy to manoeuver in short crew or alone.
A 80 cm aft platform was added to the original design, perfectly integrated to the boat's lines.
The boat was splashed in 2001. The builders and first owners of the boat are sailers form the sailing race, and boat preparators on the Vendée Globe, who made out of this Randonneur 1200 their ideal boat combining long travel and performance.
The actual owners bought her in 2006, they sailed for 5 years in the Mediterranean. In 2013, they left France and sailed through the West Indies, Panama, Galapagos. They arrived in Polynesia in 2015. In 2016, an important refit is made: hull, deck, and inside paint, plus complete overhaul of the engine. In 2017, they won the Tahiti Pearl Regatta (TPR) in cruising class. Now for family reason, the owners wants to go bacl in France, and to transmit the boat to her next owners. You ?
